ORDER PURCHASING, SHIPMENT, DELIVERY & RETURN INFORMATION:
Dietary Equipment Company requires a written purchase order or a signature on your quotation to process all orders. Please make sure your order reflects the correct quantities and prices, including any miscellaneous fees such as broken case charges, minimum order charges, etc.
Pre-payment may be required for first-time customers. Payment terms are Net 30.
SHIPPING
Dietary Equipment ships products via freight truck and ground carriers. We will utilize the least expensive carrier available at that time. If you have carrier preferences, please specify at the time of order. Please make arrangements for the unloading at your location.
If you do not have a receiving dock and lift gate delivery is required, an additional
charge will apply. If you require inside delivery, please contact a sales representative at 1-800-755-4777.
Shipping costs are determined by
• number of packages
• weight of packages
• destination point
IMPORTANT DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
Inspect your delivery before accepting!
Before signing the delivery receipt, open your packages and inspect for any damage or shortages and note the nature and extent thoroughly on the freight bill. Contact your sales representative as soon as possible at 1-800-755-4777. If you notice the damage after the driver has left save all the damaged packaging and contact your sales representative as soon as possible.
Please do not return damaged items without a return authorization number.
RETURNS
If you require an item to be returned, an authorization number must be issued through one of Dietary Equipment's sales representatives. Replacement items or parts will not be shipped to you until the returned units have been received at the factory.
Please note:
• Return authorizations are valid for 30 days
• Unless the merchandise is defective, all returns must be shipped
freight prepaid, in new, unused condition. Merchandise is subject
to inspection prior to issuance of credit or refund.
• If the return is due to any reason other than defect in manufacturer's
workmanship, a restocking fee may apply.
• Special order items and custom built items are non-returnable.
WARRANTY
All products carry their standard manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to your
Owner’s Manual for details or contact a Dietary Equipment sales representative at 800-755-4777.
